His Life
Over the years, Scali has been involved in a wide range of creative projects that have taken him across the country—from the vibrant hotel casinos of Las Vegas to the historic charm of New Orleans' French Quarter.
Here in his home state of Florida, Scali’s artwork is prominently featured in well-known restaurants along both the Gulf and Atlantic coasts, as well as in Orlando and Disney Springs.
It was during this time that Scali began developing a distinctive collection of sculptural works inspired by two of the ocean’s most iconic species: the swift, elegant sailfish and the legendary marlin. This collection reflects a range of styles—from whimsical interpretations to refined forms crafted from the natural beauty of exotic woods.
Each sculpture in the series is individually numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity, ensuring its originality and craftsmanship.
Throughout his career, Scali has created artwork for a variety of high-profile clients and corporations nationwide (see project list below). One opportunity often led to the next, and his work has continued to gain recognition across the country.
At the heart of Scali’s practice is a passion for revealing the raw beauty of nature. Every sculpture is one-of-a-kind, built using a wide array of techniques and materials that highlight the unique character of each piece.
Scali is best known for his dynamic and diverse collection of marlin and sailfish sculptures. Collectors—both private and corporate—appreciate the fine detail, sturdy construction, and unmistakable artistry found in each work.
For more than four decades, Scali has pursued his passion as a professional artist offering original and limited edition sculptures. His creative mind, combined with access to a variety of materials, impeccable craftsmanship and artistry, results in stunning masterpieces.
